So I came to your blog from your okcupid profile, but now I no longer remember which profile that was. Great photography, awesome looking food, though much of it seems a little ambitious for my mediocre kitchen skills. I'm going to attempt your biscuits this weekend, though.

Oh, and I appreciate the Homestar Runner reference as well.

Cheers, Sean

Just tried these, and now I am in a butter-induced stupor. In an absence of buttermilk, I used the 4.5 на баба and they were still awesome.

And I would still haul my flour half-way around the world today. If anyone is looking for another great recipe for sweet biscuits instead of salty, I'd recommend 'The Flying Biscuit' biscuit recipe from one of my favorite Atlanta haunts. It's not as light and fluffy as these, but it doesn't need any jam, jelly, or butter.

seriously!? Only four biscuits! That is insane! I'll have to make these for Jeremy some time since he is an incredible butter fiend. Of course, I do have a pretty tasty biscuit recipe myself. It doesn't call for as much butter, but lately I've realized a little more butter makes it even better. =)
